Ingredients

  • 1 lb. breakfast sausage
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 8 oz. rotelli pasta
  • 1 c. shredded extra-sharp cheese
  • dash of sugar
  • 1 c. heavy cream

Directions

    Saute garlic in olive oil in heavy skillet until light brown. Slice sausage into rounds; add to skillet.

    When brown, add can of tomatoes, parsley, salt and pepper and dash of sugar.

    Simmer for 20 minutes or until fat is reduced.
