- 1 (9-inch) pastry shell
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. light cream
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Brown sausage in skillet; drain.

2Cut into small pieces.

3Add onion to skillet and cook until soft.

4Combine onion with sausage and sprinkle over bottom of pastry shell.

5Sprinkle on cheese. Combine egg, salt, light cream and milk.

6Beat slightly.

7Pour over ingredients in pastry shell.

8Bake in preheated 375° oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
