Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pan sausage, cooked
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 2 bouillon cubes
  • 1 to 1 1/2 qt. water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • garlic salt to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • potatoes, cubed (how many you want)
  • carrots, sliced (how many you want)
  • celery, chopped (how much you want)
  • 1 pt. tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans

Directions

    Brown sausage.

    Add remaining ingredients, except kidney beans, and simmer until vegetables are tender.

    Add kidney beans and simmer 5 minutes more.
