Sausage Stuffed Shells

Ingredients
- 1 lb. Italian sweet sausage
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 4 slices bread, crumbled
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. parsley
- 20 jumbo shells, boiled and drained
- 2 (15 1/2 oz.) jars spaghetti sauce
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated and divided
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Prick sausage with fork and cook in a small amount of water in a covered skillet for 5 minutes.

3Drain.

4Chop sausage and fry along with onion until brown and crumbly, stirring often.

5Spoon off fat.

6Add egg, bread and parsley; mix thoroughly. Fill hot shells with sausage mixture.

7Pour 1/2 the sauce into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

8Arrange shells in pan.

9Pour remaining sauce over shells.

10Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil.

11Sprinkle grated cheese over top and bake, uncovered, 10 more minutes.
