- 2 loaf bread
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 lb pork sausage meat (no casing)
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup butter, or margarine
- 2 tbsp sage
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup water
Directions

1Cut or tear bread into pieces approximately half an inch.

2Place in a very large pan

3Put the next 4 ingredients into frying pan, fry over medium heat until onions are tender.

4When finished cooking, add to the bread.

5Now add the sage, garlic powder, pepper, and salt to the bread and mix thoroughly

6In a small bowl combine the egg and water, mix well.

7And to the bread mixture.

8Put the bread mixture into a buttered pan, cover, and bake at 350F for 30 minutes
