  • 1 lb bulk pork sausage, browned and crumbled
  • 3/4 C finely chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 C chopped celery
  • 1 C margarine (substitute sausage drippings for part)
  • 8 C soft bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

    Cook and stir onion and celery in margarine in 10 inch skillet until onion is tender. Stir in about 1/3 of the bread cubes. Turn into deep bowl. Add remaining ingredients, toss. Stuff turkey just before roasting.
