  • 1/2 package vegetables julienned
  • olive oil as needed
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 smoked sausage farinheira
  • 1 cup green beans

    Begin by blanching the vegetables in boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and drain.

    In the same pan, heat 1 or 2 tablespoons of olive oil, add chopped garlic, and saute slightly.

    Remove sausage from skin, and undo sausage meat with a fork.

    Add to pan.

    Add the drained vegetables, stir, and cook for a few minutes.

    Finally, add the beans, gently mix, and simmer until beans are warm.

    Do not stir too much so that the beans don't crumble.

    Serve warm.
