- 15 -20 small figs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon crystallized ginger (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Directions

1Cut figs in half lengthwise.

2Heat saute pan over medium high heat.

3Melt butter in pan.

4Add ginger (optional) to pan to soften in hot butter.

5Add cinnamon and cloves, stir.

6Add figs to pan, turning occasionally to soften and brown.

7Add brown sugar to pan, stirring frequently to melt and caramelize sugar.

8Allow to cool for 3-5 minutes, and enjoy!
