Sauteed Snap Beans

  • 4 c. snap beans, cooked until almost done
  • 3 Tbsp. oil or bacon fat
  • 2 Tbsp. instant onion
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • dash of garlic salt
  • cracked black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. chili sauce
  • pickled or plain cooked beets (for garnish) or other vegetable of choice

Directions

    Saute beans 1 minute in enough oil or bacon fat to cover bottom of wok or pan.

    Add instant onion and water to mix and saute again. Add dash of garlic salt, cracked black pepper and chili sauce. Toss lightly.

    Serve on platter.

    Garnish with beets or other vegetable of your choice to add color.
