  • 1 lb. large limas
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 1 c. water (bean water)

Directions

    Soak beans overnight.

    Cook for 1 hour after coming to a boil. Drain and save water.

    Add sugar, mustard and soup, then fry bacon.

    Add fat and bacon to bean mix.

    Bake 2 hours in a 300° oven.

    Let stand.
