- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon sage
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons shortening or 1 1/2 tablespoons margarine, chilled
- 3/4 cup water
Directions

1Mix all of the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Cut in shortening. Stir in water with fork. Mix lightly. Drop into hot stew.

2Cook 10 minutes uncovered, then cover and cook for another 10 minutes. Serve at once.
