- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 large shallots, minced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1/2 cup black currant jelly
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Directions

1Melt the butter in a medium size heavy saucepan over medium heat.

2Add the shallots and garlic and saute until transparent, about 3 to 5 minutes.

3Stir in the brandy, jelly, mustard and wine.

4Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.

5Season with salt and pepper.

6Serve warm.
