Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. pork sausage
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 10 pkg. frozen peas and carrots
- 13 oz. can chicken broth or 1 3/4 c. chicken broth
- 2/3 c. milk
- 2 c. cubed chicken
Directions

1In a saucepan brown sausage and drain on paper towels.

2Pour off fat.

3In same pan, melt butter and blend in flour and salt. Cook until thickened.

4(I use more broth to make gravy thinner and more of it.)

5Add sausage, chicken and peas.

6Heat through.

7Pour into baking dish and top with pastry.

8Bake at 425° for 25 to 30 minutes.
