Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
  • 2 c. diced cooked vegetables (fresh or leftover carrots, potatoes, peas, corn or celery)
  • 2 c. diced cooked meat (beef, lamb, veal)
  • 1 1/2 to 2 c. well seasoned gravy, thinned with vegetable juices from cooking
  • pie crust

Directions

    Saute onion and green pepper.

    Combine in 2-quart baking dish lined with pie crust.

    Add meat, vegetables and gravy.

    Heat at 425° for 15 minutes.

    Cover with pie crust.

    Cut slits in top for steam to escape.

    Bake at 425° for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 6 servings.
