- 2/3 c. dry soybeans
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. onion powder or 1 chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 3 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. uncooked oatmeal
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Wash soybeans and soak in 3 cups water overnight.

2Save 1 1/4 cups of this water and drain the rest.

3Grind soybeans with saved water.

4Mix soybeans with oatmeal; let stand 10 minutes.

5Stir in other ingredients.

6Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls into oiled skillet.

7Cover and cook on moderate heat until browned on both sides.

8Serve with sauce, tomato, mushroom or whatever desired.
