Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 3 1/2 to 4 lb. beef roast
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 3 or 4 onions
- 6 potatoes, cut in quarters
- 6 carrots, cut in 2-inch pieces
- 2 Tbsp. flour
Directions

1Using 6 quart pan or electric fry pan, brown roast in oil on all sides.

2Spoon off fat.

3Add soups and 1 cup water.

4Cover and cook on low about 2 hours.

5Add vegetables and cook until tender, adding water if necessary.

6Remove roast and vegetables.

7Mix flour and 1/2 cup water until smooth.

8Add gradually to soup mixture and cook until thick stirring constantly.

9Serve with meat and vegetables.
