  • 1 bag (20 Oz. Size) Chopped Spinach
  • 8 ounces, fluid Cream Cheese
  • 8 ounces, fluid Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons Pepper

    Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.

    Stir in the spinach.

    Cook until tender, about 5 minutes.

    Mix cream cheese and sour cream into the spinach mixture.

    When the cream cheese and sour cream are blended in, stir in Parmesan cheese, garlic salt and pepper.

    Cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened, 10 to 15 minutes.

    You can also transfer this to a crock pot and put on the lowest setting if you are serving it at a party.

    To make this low fat: Spray pan with cooking spray, and reduce butter to only 2 tablespoons (or 1/4 of a stick).
