- 1 lb. walnuts (halves or pieces)
- 2 Tbsp. butter or oil
- 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. sugar
Directions

1Boil nuts in 1 quart of water for 2 to 3 minutes. Drain quickly.

2Heat butter in skillet.

3Add nuts.

4Stir to toast, then sprinkle with soy sauce and sugar.

5Heat, stirring until nuts are coated and deep brown.

6Dry on wax paper and slow oven.
