- 1 level tsp. salt
- 1 pt. boiling water
Directions

1Add salt to boiling water.

2Gradually mix in meal.

3Set in refrigerator for about 20 minutes (or until chilled and firm).

4In 1 inch of shortening in a skillet fry at 350° for 5 minutes or until golden brown.

5Makes 18 corn cakes.
