- 1 small head cabbage, shredded
- crushed crackers
- pats of butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- milk
Directions

1Cook cabbage until transparent and drain.

2In large greased casserole dish, layer crushed crackers with layer of cabbage.

3Put pats of butter on top and salt and pepper to taste.

4Pour milk over casserole until crackers are soaked.

5Bake in low oven (275° to 300°) for 1 1/2 hours.

6If you want top brown, uncover for last 15 minutes and turn the oven up.
