- 1 medium white cabbage
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 10 saltine cracker crumbs
- 3 c. sweet milk
- 1/2 c. grated cheese
Directions

1Shred cabbage as for slaw.

2Boil 20 minutes in salt water; drain.

3Place layer of cabbage in buttered baking dish.

4Dot cabbage with butter and sprinkle with pepper.

5Cover with layer of cracker crumbs.

6Repeat layer to fill dish, ending with a layer of crackers.

7Cover with milk.

8Bake until brown in a 350° oven.
