- 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/3 c. slivered almonds
- 1 envelope onion mushroom soup
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 2 c. milk
- 1 c. cooked chicken, cut up
- 1 c. sliced cooked potatoes
- 1 c. sliced cooked carrots
Directions

1Melt butter and saute almonds until light brown.

2Stir in soup with flour and milk.

3Bring to a boil, then simmer, stirring constantly until thick, approximately 5 minutes.

4Grease 1 1/2-quart casserole.

5Layer 1/2 cup potatoes, chicken, carrots, plus 1/2 of sauce.

6Repeat layers and top with remaining sauce. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
