Ingredients

  • 3 cans whole kernel corn, drained
  • 2/3 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cup mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded cheese, your choice
  • 3 Tbsp cornstarch, dissolved in 1/2 cup water
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • salt, pepper, and other seasonings to taste
  • 3/4 cup margarine
  • additional shredded cheese

Directions

    In large casserole bowl, mix all ingredients except margarine. Place margarine in spoonfuls on top.

    Bake at 400° for about one hour, until thick and lightly brown.

    Sprinkle with additional cheese.

    Return to oven until cheese is completely melted.
