- 1 small onion, chopped (about 1/4 c.)
- 1/2 small green pepper, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- dash of pepper
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen whole kernel corn, cooked and drained or 1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
- 1/3 c. cracker crumbs
Directions

1Cook and stir onion and green pepper in 2 tablespoons margarine until onion is tender.

2Remove from heat.

3Stir in flour, salt, paprika, mustard and pepper.

4Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is bubbly.

5Remove from heat. Stir in milk gradually.

6Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir one minute; stir in corn and egg.

7Pour into ungreased 1-quart casserole.
