- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper (or red pepper)
- white sauce
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. chopped green onions
- No. 2 can corn
- bread crumbs
Directions

1Melt 1/2 cube butter; stir in 2 large tablespoons flour, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon (preferably).

2Add 1 to 1 1/2 cups milk; stir over low heat to make the white sauce creamy. Add salt and pepper to taste after you take off the stove.

3Saute the peppers and onions in a little butter or water until tender; cover.

4Beat the egg and add drained onions, peppers, drained corn and add the white sauce.

5Pour into casserole.

6Sprinkle a few bread crumbs over top.

7Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20 minutes. Serves 4 to 5.
