Ingredients

  • 1 (No. 2) can (about 16 oz.) whole kernel or cream-style corn
  • 1/2 to 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 c. dry bread crumbs or cracker crumbs
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. green pepper or pimiento, chopped (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine

Directions

    Combine whole kernel corn and 3/4 cup milk or cream-style corn and 1/2 cup milk.

    Add bread or cracker crumbs, onion, green pepper and seasonings.

    Pour into buttered casserole.

    Dot with butter.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
