- 2 c. cream or half and half
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 2 c. cracker crumbs
Directions

1Pour melted butter over crumbs, stirring well.

2Spread 1/3 of crumbs on bottom of buttered casserole dish.

3Cover with half of oysters.

4Add another layer of crumbs.

5Add last half of oysters and then remaining crumbs.

6Season with salt and pepper.

7Cover with 2 cups cream or half and half.

8Bake in moderate oven about 40 minutes.
