  • 25 oysters (save liquid)
  • 2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. milk or cream
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

    Grease baking dish and cover bottom with bread crumbs.

    Lay oysters on crumbs.

    Season and cover with more crumbs.

    Pour milk and oyster liquid over top.

    Dot with butter.

    Bake in hot oven at 425° about 20 minutes.
