  • 8 slices white bread
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 20 oz. can unsweetened pineapple

    Cut bread into 1/2-inch cubes; set aside.

    In a bowl, mix together sugar, eggs, butter and milk.

    Add bread cubes.

    Pour into a 2-quart baking dish.

    Pour the can of pineapple on top. Spread around on top.

    Bake at 350° until center is firm and a knife inserted comes out clean, about 1 hour.
