- 2 lb. frozen hash browns
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. butter, divided
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 c. milk
- 2 c. cornflakes
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2No need to thaw potatoes completely, just enough to get them apart, especially if you're not going to cook immediately.

3Mix together potatoes, 1/4 cup butter, salt, pepper, sour cream, onion, milk, cheese, and cream of celery soup. Place in 9 x 13-inch pan.

4Top with crushed cornflakes, mixed with 1/4 cup butter.

5Bake for 45 minutes.

6This is good to make ahead, freezes well.
