- 1 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/3 c. melted butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. salt
- 6 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
Directions

1Place crumbs in baking dish.

2Pour butter or margarine over crumbs; mix until coated.

3Add salt, sugar and basil to tomatoes in saucepan and heat to boiling.

4Pour over crumbs and distribute well.

5Bake at 425° for 30 to 40 minutes or until well browned.
