  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. powdered basil
  • 1 c. bread cubes, toasted
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

    Combine bread cubes and butter.

    In a 2-quart casserole, layer tomato mixture and bread cubes, ending with bread cubes on top. Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.
