- 1 c. diced celery
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 3 1/2 c. peeled, chopped tomatoes, drained
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. mustard
- dash of pepper
- 3 slices bread, toasted and cut into cubes
Directions

1Saute celery and onion in butter 5 to 7 minutes or until onion is tender.

2Blend in flour, stirring until smooth.

3Add next 5 ingredients and half of bread cubes. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.

4Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining bread cubes; bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes.

5Serves 6.
