Ingredients

  • 1 lb green beans, cleaned and ends cut (~3-4 cups)
  • 2 hot red chili peppers, chopped (optional instead of oil)
  • 1 red pepper, chopped coarsely
  • 12 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon hot chili oil (I use 1-2T)
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch, mixed in 2 Tbsp water
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce

Directions

    Coarsely chop red pepper and mix with green beans.

    Chop garlic, onions, and spicy red chilies.
  3. 3
    Heat oils and saute green beans and red peppers for 5 minutes.

    Add the onions, garlic, spicy chilies, and ginger and saute 3 more minutes.

    Add the corn starch mixture and bring to a boil.

    Lower the heat and add the chilli powder, rice vinegar, soy sauce.

    Mix and remove from heat.
