  • 2 (No. 2) cans green beans, drained
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 small onion, chopped fine

Directions

    Fry bacon until brown and crisp.

    Chop in small pieces.

    Add sugar and vinegar to bacon and grease.

    Cook until sugar is dissolved; add green beans and simmer about 20 minutes.
