- 1/2 lb. hot dogs, halved lengthwise and sliced
- 1 c. sliced celery
- 1/2 c. sliced carrots
- 1/2 c. chopped green peppers
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 1/2 to 3 c. milk
- 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1In large saucepan, combine hot dogs, celery, carrots, green peppers, onion and butter.

2Cook and stir over medium heat until vegetables are tender.

3Stir in flour and pepper until blended. Gradually add milk.

4Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.

5Add cheese; stir until melted.

6Yield: 5 servings.
