Ingredients
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. garlic, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. Sauterne
- 6 bay leaves
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 4 (1 lb.) cans crushed whole peeled tomatoes
- salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 large crab, washed and cracked
- 8 clams
- 8 prawns
- 1/2 lb. bay shrimp
- 1/4 lb. crab meat
Directions

1Heat oil in saucepan.

2Add garlic and saute until garlic is browned.

3Add onion, wine, bay leaves and oregano.

4Cook 10 minutes over low heat.

5Add crushed tomatoes and sugar.

6Season to taste with salt.

7Simmer 20 minutes, adding more wine if it evaporates too quickly.

8Add crab, clams, prawns, shrimp and crab meat.

9Cook until clams open, about 10 to 15 minutes.
