- 4 c. flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 4 oz. margarine
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 3/4 c. raisins
- 2 eggs, beaten
Directions

1Blend first four ingredients together.

2Add raisins.

3Blend in, then add milk.

4Blend until a ball forms.

5Place on floured board and knead for a few minutes.

6Cut in half, make two circles. Flatten to about 2 inches thick.

7Cut through each circle into eighths.

8Place on greased sheet pan.

9Separate wedges slightly. Brush with beaten egg.

10Bake at 375° for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
