- 1 lb. butter (do not use margarine)
- 4 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
Directions

1Cream sugar, butter and 1/2 of flour until stiff to handle. Place on board and knead in remainder of flour.

2Will handle real easily.

3Press evenly in long oblong Pyrex dish to bake.

4Bake at 325° for 5 minutes, then 300° for 15 to 20 minutes.

5Do not brown, only slightly on edges.

6Sprinkle with powdered sugar while hot. Cut in small squares while slightly brown.
