- 1 1/2 c. butter (3 sticks)
- 1 1/4 c. powdered sugar
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. cornstarch
Directions

1Cream the butter and powdered sugar until fluffy.

2Sift the flour and cornstarch together and cut into butter mixture until coarse meal.

3Knead 1 to 2 minutes until smooth and press into cookie sheet.

4Prick with fork.

5Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes or until pale brown.

6Do not overbake.

7Cut into squares while warm.
