- 6 c. sifted flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c. soft butter
- 2 egg yolks
Directions

1Mix first 3 ingredients by hand until like fine bread crumbs. Add egg yolks, one at a time.

2Knead well after each addition. Divide into 8 balls.

3Place onto cookie sheets.

4Press with hand into rounds; prick with a fork.

5Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 15 minutes.

6Reduce heat to 300° and bake for 30 minutes.

7Cut into eighths.

8Return to oven to brown edges (optional).

9Arrange on small paper plates and sprinkle with sugar, if desired.

10Wrap in foil or Saran Wrap.

11Store in airtight tin.
