- 1/2 lb. butter
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 c. flour, sifted
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

2Add flour all at once and mix by hand.

3Pat onto cookie sheet, about 13 x 9-inch. Prick all over with fork.

4Bake at 300° for about 45 minutes. Should be a light brown.

5Cut into fingers while hot.

6Sprinkle liberally with sugar.

7Cool and store in an airtight tin.
