- 1 lb. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 lb. sugar
- 2 oz. farina (Cream of Wheat)
Directions

1Using your hands, cream butter and sugar until soft.

2Add remaining ingredients; continue using your hands.

3This is the secret to good shortbread.

4Pour mixture onto a jelly roll pan that has been lined with foil paper.

5Stick holes into batter with a fork.

6Bake for 1 hour at 300°.

7Remove from oven and cut in squares while hot.
