  • 6 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. Karo syrup (light)
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 1 large pkg. chocolate bits
  • 1 large pkg. butterscotch bits

Directions

    Boil sugar and Karo for 3 minutes; remove from stove and add peanut butter.

    Blend with Rice Krispies and spread on ungreased cookie sheet.

    In double boiler, combine chocolate and butterscotch bits and melt them.

    Pour on top of Rice Krispie mixture and chill until firm.

    Cut in squares when icing hardens.

    Makes 24 bars.
