  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 ounce butter
  • 5 ounces firm tofu
  • 12 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoons cream or 2 teaspoons soya cream
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

    Heat the olive oil and butter in a sauce pan over moderate heat.

    Add the tofu, turmeric, cream and salt and pepper to taste.

    Stir over a gentle heat until the tofu is hot and looks like scrambled egg.

    If you like a runnier scramble, add a little unsweetened soya milk until you get the right consistency.
