Scrambled Tofu Bowl

  • 2 bowls Freshly cooked rice
  • 300 grams Tofu
  • 70 grams~ Thinly sliced pork
  • 1/2 Carrot
  • 1 as much as you prefer Green peas, shiitake mushrooms, etc
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Mirin
  • 2 tbsp Sake
  • 2 + 1 tablespoon Egg + mentsuyu

Directions

    Drain the tofu.

    Cut pork into bite size pieces, finely julienne the carrots and other vegetables.

    Heat oil in a pan.
  4. 4
    Saute the pork, carrots and the other vegetables.

    Mash the tofu with your hands and saute.

    Add the seasonings and simmer.

    Reduce the liquid.

    Whisk the eggs and mentsuyu.

    Pour in the egg mixture and mix briskly.

    Top over the warm rice.

    Or you could top the egg mixture from the Step 5 over the warm rice and add the tofu from Step 4.

    Top with whatever vegetables you prefer.

    I tried with cabbage and it was good.
