  • 1/2 c. water (Genesis 1:6)
  • 1 Tbsp. honey (Proverbs 24:12)
  • 1 c. figs and 1 c. raisins (1 Samuel 30:12)
  • 1/2 c. almonds (Genesis 43:11)

Directions

    Blend together butter, sugar, spices and salt.

    Beat egg yolks and add to butter and sugar mix.

    Sift in baking powder and flour, then add water and honey.

    Put nuts and fruit through food chopper.

    Add more flour, if needed.

    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

    Bake for 1 hour in 375° oven.
