- 1 fryer chicken or 6 to 8 chicken breasts
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. evaporated can milk
- 1 c. water
- self-rising flour for coating
Directions

1Wash chicken (skin if wanted).

2Put in bowl and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

3Roll in self-rising flour.

4Place in 9 x 13-inch foil-lined baking pan which has the foil buttered. Place small pats of margarine on chicken and place in oven for 15 minutes (no foil on top).

5Mix the water and evaporated milk together and pour over chicken.

6Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes.

7Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer or until done.
