  • pastry for 1 crust
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. shredded lemon peel
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 7 oz. crab meat, drained and flaked or 4 1/2 oz. shrimp, drained and chopped (1 can)
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 c. light cream
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • dash of nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 c. sliced almonds (optional)

    Line crust with double thickness aluminum foil.

    Bake at 450° for 5 minutes.
