Ingredients

  • 1 lb. cooked shrimp or minced clams
  • 1 c. onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems & pieces, drained
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 lb. spaghetti
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Cook onion in margarine until tender.

    Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, mushrooms, garlic salt and oregano.

    Simmer, uncovered, 20 to 30 minutes or until thickened slightly.

    Add shrimp or clams and heat until hot.

    Cook spaghetti according to package directions.

    Serve sauce over drained spaghetti and top with Parmesan cheese to taste.
